Child Guidance & Family Solutions (CG&FS) plays a valuable role in training and preparing mental healthcare professionals for the future. These efforts are critical, given the acute workforce shortage for all levels of mental health professionals. In the case of child psychiatrists, there are less than 8000 in the country and an estimated need for 33,000.
