(The Wayne County medical examiner&#8217;s office declared Cornell&#8217;s death a suicide by hanging; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/pop-culture\/music\/chris-cornell-s-wife-disputes-suicide-ruling-says-medication-could-n762046\">Cornell&#8217;s wife has disputed that ruling<\/a> and suggested her late husband&#8217;s anti-anxiety medication may have played a role.)<\/p>\n<p>In fact, American men make up the bulk of suicides nationwide.
