Eastcentral Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center recently received a $5,000 grant from the Blue Ribbon Foundation of Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania to train individuals who work with adolescents to better understand and recognize mental health and crisis situations. Eastcentral will use the grant to deliver the Youth Mental Health First Aid Program to 150 individuals in Carbon, Lackawanna, Clinton, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming Counties in the coming year.
